I LOVE BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR!
Plain and simple: I love playing by my own rules. If I have an idea, I can just go for it. I am not limited by anyone else’s systems or rules. The way I work is mine for the creating.
When I was young, my parents had a rule for us – it was called the 50/50 rule. If we needed something beyond life’s necessities, we were to come up with half the cost ourselves. I paid for half of my first Cabbage Patch Doll! Half of my first piece of designer clothing (Esprit, thank you very much!).
What this taught me is how to make it happen. If you want something, YOU go for it. YOU chase it. YOU make it happen. Don’t wait for someone else to make it happen for you (they probably wont).
